So About me,
My name is Joana Jaramillo and I’m an illustrator who primarily works in advertising and editorial work. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas as a first generation Venezuelan. I create bold and colorful illustrations that communicate clear and clever solutions.
My work focuses on cultural, political work, to commercial work. Using expressive line work, dynamic compositions, and limited color palettes to push the concept of my illustrations. I love working with concepts where the message is just as important as the illustration, and to make sure the message reads clearly.

Meet apple!
The cat pulling all the strings
She’s named after the company not the fruit lol
Her favorite things to eat/bite include butter, flowers, and freshly dyed hair (all actually true)
She loves to hang in the backyard, but panics whenever we close the door while she’s outside
curious about the process?
