Hi, let me formally introduce myself. My name is Joana Jaramillo and I’m an illustrator who primarily works in advertising and editorial work. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas as a first generation Venezuelan. I create bold and colorful illustrations that communicate clear and clever solutions.

My work focuses on cultural, political work, to commercial work. Using expressive line work, dynamic compositions, and limited color palettes to push the concept of my illustrations. I particularly love working with concepts where the message is just as important as the illustration, and to make sure the message reads clearly.
